Pumehana Boutique

The word Pumehana has a special meaning to us personally because it was a family members name.  It is also a Hawaiian word that means warm-hearted, warmth or affection.  Further research stated that it is made up of a combination of the words Pu and Mehana, Pu is said to mean to be warmed (as with clothing) and Mehana means warm or to be or become warm.  These words can also be used to refer to warmth in friendship. 

I kept that in mind when thinking of starting my boutique, I thought it would be a perfect fit.  When you are comfortable, you get that warm, fuzzy feeling.  When you wear comfortable clothing that looks and feels good, you have a boost in confidence - and have that warm and fuzzy feeling as well.  All of these encompass what I decided to strive for when opening my boutique.  Finding clothing that is comfortable to wear, is versatile for both work or play, and makes you feel great when wearing it.
